Terms and Conditions

#JeSuisVoyageur is a division (part) of Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc., holding a Quebec permit 703365, with its headquarters located at 2580 Boulevard Thibeau, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, G8T 1G2.

COVID-19 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For more details regarding government updates related to COVID-19 and travel, please visit the Government of Canada's website.

While our team is here to assist you, it is the responsibility of each traveler to verify the entry requirements of their destination related to COVID-19. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing proof of vaccination meeting certain conditions.

  • Undergoing a COVID-19 test before departure.

  • Undergoing a COVID-19 test at the destination.

  • Complying with certain health measures different from those in Canada.

  • Completing certain forms before departure and/or obtaining travel authorization.

  • Undergoing quarantine at the destination.

The requirements of each country can change at any time. Please stay informed regularly to avoid surprises. Your travel advisor remains available for support if you have questions in this regard.

Currently, no insurance company covers changes in entry requirements related to COVID-19 as it is a known situation. Therefore, if you book a trip, and the government of the visited country changes the rules affecting your eligibility to enter that country, you may be required to cancel your trip and be liable for any penalties incurred.

Please note that if you experience COVID-19-related symptoms before your departure and are unable to travel, Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc. and its parties cannot compensate you in any way. Remember that transport companies have the right to refuse passengers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. Once again, if such a situation arises, neither the agency, its parties, the involved transport company, nor the service provider are obligated to compensate you.

Furthermore, if you develop symptoms at the destination and cannot return from your trip within the originally scheduled timeframe, please refer to your travel insurance. Without insurance, all expenses incurred at the destination, including changes to your flight or the purchase of a new ticket, will be at your expense. Consult your travel advisor for more information on travel insurance and COVID-19 travel insurance options that you can obtain before your departure.

In the case of a travel credit issued in connection with COVID-19, the conditions related to it are always defined by the provider of the relevant service. In no case does Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc. - nor any of its parties - issue a travel credit related to COVID-19. It is the providers, airlines, and other tour operators who offer these credits AND decide the rules for their use. The agency and its parties have no control over the regulation or use of travel credits, nor the prices of packages from all providers combined.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Changes and Cancellations by the Supplier

The flight itinerary and that of all other services are subject to change, whether it be additions/removals/change of stopovers or changes in departure and arrival times, and carriers are not necessarily obligated to offer compensation for changes. If such a change occurs before your departure, you will be informed. If a change occurs during your stay, we will be available upon your return to assess the situation.

Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc. and its parties are not responsible for supplier price increases or the cancellation of services offered by suppliers. Compensation offers are also made by suppliers and do not fall under the agency or its parties. We are bound by the supplier's conditions.

Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc. and its parties cannot predict the bankruptcy of a supplier and the repercussions this may have on your travel services.

Suppliers reserve the right to increase the price of a flight or package if the exchange rate and/or fuel prices suddenly rise by more than 5% between the purchase date and the 45th day before departure. Once the travel price is increased by at least 7% (excluding taxes), the customer has the right to cancel the contract and be reimbursed by the supplier or accept another replacement trip. For more details, visit the OPC website.

Accommodation and Transport

Check-in at an accommodation varies but is usually in the late afternoon on the first day of your stay. So, if your flight arrives very early in the morning, your room may not be available for several hours. Unless otherwise indicated, our team cannot guarantee that the establishment will allow an early check-in.

Check-out from accommodation varies but is usually before noon. So, if you are leaving the destination later in the day, you may no longer have access to your room. Unless otherwise indicated, our team cannot guarantee that the establishment will allow late check-out.

The duration of transport between two locations (e.g., between the airport and the hotel) may vary depending on weather and road conditions. In no case can our team guarantee that the estimated duration at the time of booking will be adhered to.

Changes and Cancellations by the Traveler

Each service is subject to the supplier's sales conditions. For all modification and cancellation terms, please refer to the supplier's sales conditions, which can be provided by your travel advisor upon request. Please note that in some cases, the agency and its parties may charge an administrative fee in addition to the penalty incurred for modifying or canceling a service to cover the time spent on the file.

Any change to a travel service, including corrections to the name or date of birth of a passenger, a change of departure or return date, or a change of destination, could result in penalties of up to the total amount of the service.

Eligibility to Travel and Health

Some countries require payment of an entry and/or exit tax. Consult www.voyage.gc.ca for all details or ask your travel advisor for information on this matter.

It is the responsibility of each traveler to have all the necessary documents to visit the planned country or countries during their stay (passport with post-travel validity required, visa, parental authorization, proof of vaccination, etc.).

Each traveler is responsible for informing their travel advisor of any legal, physical, or psychological condition that may hinder the success of their trip. This includes but is not limited to:

  • An ongoing pregnancy or plans for pregnancy.

  • Tobacco or drug use (including drugs prescribed by a medical professional).

  • Physical incapacity.

  • Criminal record/criminal background and/or prohibition from entering a country.

Travel Insurance

Do you have travel insurance? Ask your travel advisor for more information today to be protected during your upcoming vacations.

The client is responsible for validating the clauses, inclusions, and exclusions of their travel insurance coverage. It is also the client's responsibility to verify with their personal insurer all the conditions of their protection coverage, both for illnesses that are already known and for any other possible illnesses and/or discomforts that may develop during their stay abroad.

It is the client's responsibility to ensure that their personal travel insurance coverage includes or excludes emergency medical care, baggage protection, travel interruptions or extensions, trip cancellations, and to be aware of the deadlines, terms, and conditions. Voyage 1001 Destinations Inc. and its parties disclaim all responsibility for travel insurance acquired and/or held by each passenger on the file.
